Voice Recorder
Record from your microphone or capture browser/tab audio, pause and resume, then save as MP3, WAV, OGG, M4A or WebM — all on your device
Record audio straight from your browser — your microphone, or the audio from a browser tab or your whole screen — with pause and resume, a live input meter and waveform, then save it as MP3, WAV, OGG, M4A or WebM with adjustable quality and compression. Everything runs on your device: recording, encoding and your saved recordings list all stay local, nothing is uploaded to a server.

Frequently asked questions
Can I record audio playing in another tab, not just my microphone?
Yes — choose "Browser Audio" and pick the tab, window or screen to capture when your browser prompts you. This uses the same screen-sharing permission browsers use for video calls, so a permission prompt is expected and required.
Is my recording uploaded anywhere?
No — capturing, encoding to any of the supported formats, and storing your recordings list all happen entirely in your browser. Nothing leaves your device unless you choose to download or share a file yourself.
Which format should I pick?
MP3 is the most broadly compatible and a good default. WAV is uncompressed and lossless but much larger. OGG and WebM depend on your browser's built-in encoder support, so availability can vary.
Will my recordings still be there if I close the tab?
Yes — saved recordings are kept in your browser's local storage on this device, so they persist across sessions until you delete them or clear your browser data. They won't follow you to a different browser or device.
